Choose or Die (2022)

A teenage girl comes across an old 80’s computer game that when played it adds its own twist to her reality by making her choose and then her decision becomes a reality.

I liked this film, it’s different and weird but I liked that.

The unholy (2021)

A girl who has never been able to speak or hear suddenly starts speaking and hearing and claims to have visions and getting messages from the Virgin Mary. A journalist starts investigating this and digs deeper and finds out there’s more to this than what meets the eye and a much darker side to it.

Not a bad film, would watch again and is jumpy and creepy in places.

Euro trip (2004)

A teen school leaver gets dumped by his girlfriend and after a nasty drunk email to his pen pal who he assumes is a male only to find out it’s not decides to go on an adventure across Europe with his friends to find his pen pal who he has fallen in love with.

A teenage hormone driven comedy with the teenagers pretty much with one thing on their mind on an adventure across Europe trying and seeing new things along their way.

Nobody (2021)

A normal guy is trying to lead a normal life with his wife and children but they get burgled by two desperate thieves who seems to have taken something he’s not happy about and takes his anger out on a group of men which causes him to end up in a battle with a Russian crime boss and he has to become once again the person he’s trying not to be anymore.

Great action film with some good dark humour.

The Batman (2022)

A serial killer is killing off politicians in Gotham City and killer is leaving puzzles to why he is killing them but he is also leaving puzzles to himself too so Batman tries to investigate these murders and solve these puzzles left behind.

Great movie, it was quite slow paced and is very different to your usual Batman type movies.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

When a single mum and her two kids find out about the death of their Father/Grandfather and move out to the farm where he lived, they soon discover many things about him they did not know and that they are linked to the original ghostbusters.

Great family film, little bit of everything in it and if you have home theatre sound or sound bar you will not be disappointed as sound is fantastic.

The Imitation game (2014)

During world war 2 an English mathematician/ genius goes to Bletchley and joins a small but very intelligent team to help win the war by trying to crack the German enigma machine.

Brilliant film and is also based on a true story.

American pie (1999)

Four teenage friends are about to finish school and they decide to make a pact to all lose their virginity by graduation day. Their pact doesn’t go as easy as they had hoped as all sorts of things keep going wrong for them.

A good comedy about hormone driven teens trying all sorts of things and having wacky ideas and I expect most of us can relate to some of it from our younger days.

Youngblood (1986)

A 17 year old boy who grew up on a farm is a talented young ice hockey player and is trying to make his name in the junior hockey league so he can make it to the NHL but also has rivalry with another bully player on another team.

It’s a typical 80’s movie where acting could be better in places but it is entertaining to watch with a little bit of everything, romance, making new friends, sports action, rivalry, competition and a little cheesy 80’s humour.

The Hunt (2020)

Twelve stranger’s wake up in or around some woods and fields gagged not knowing where they are or how they got there but soon realise they are being hunted by others for sport and are in a fight for survival.

Good film, has some shooting, fighting with a little bit of gore and some humour too with the main character not caring too much about what she does to survive.
